IPv6 Resources
Although recent events have substantially increased the level of interest in IPv6, the protocol has been heavily discussed in public for almost a decade. There are a significant volume of whitepapers, articles, websites, and presentations that discuss IPv6. Unfortunately, many of these items are old, out of date, or just plain fictitious. The following links will take you to sources of information regarding IPv6 that are carefully screened for their timeliness, accuracy, and relevance to future development of IPv6.
Native6 Whitepapers, Presentations and Tutorials
There is a vibrant and active IPv6 community that spans the globe, providing a voice for the adoption of IPv6. For the past four years, Native has played a role in this community as a member of the IPv6 Forum, the leadership structure of the North American IPv6 Task Force, and the IPv6 Business Council. During this tenure, we have delivered numerous presentations on the drivers for IPv6 adoption, the technical aspects of deployment, and helped educate thousands of engineers and IPv6 enthusiasts around the world on the fundamentals of IPv6.
This section of the Native6 website will share some of those presentations with you in the hope that they will continue to provide benefit and value to your IPv6 adoption process.
Not wanting to limit our IPv6 advocacy work to the IPv6 Forum and its subsidary bodies, Native6 is releasing a new series of whitepapers collectively known as "Building the New Internet". This series will provide adopters with information on advanced IPv6 deployment issues, case studies for IPv6 adoption, and how IPv6 is being utilized in industry today. Please join us every quarter for a new installment in the informative and powerful series.
