Course Description:
Cisco Systems® has long been a leader in the development and support of the IPv6 protocol. This leadership is not limited to the Cisco IOS, but is also evident in their training products. This advanced IPv6 networking course is designed to help network designers, engineers, and administrators with the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IPv6 networks using Cisco devices running Cisco IOS software. This course is a follow-on course to the Cisco IPv6 Fundamentals course.
Content Overview:
This course covers a variety of advanced IPv6 topics, including ACLs, routing, integration support, Mobile IPv6, and IPv6 supported services on the Cisco IOS platform. Multiple labs are utilized to reinforce instructors’ lectures and include the following topics: Advanced ACL Configuration, Prefix Delegation, ISATAP, OSPF Configuration, I/ISIS, Configuring BGP, and Multicasting with IPv6. Upon completion of this course, the learner will possess the knowledge to manage an IPv6 network as well as the tools to demonstrate IPv6 concepts to others in their organization
Intended Audience:
This course is intended primarily for Cisco network designers, engineers, and administrators.
Prerequisites:
Attendees should have a basic knowledge of IPv6, an intermediate knowledge of IP and routing, and familiarity with Cisco IOS®.
